About Us
Studio Noma is a portfolio-focused art academy based in Boston, dedicated to helping students develop original, meaningful, and ambitious work.
Under the direction of Art Director Sue Ji, students receive individualized mentorship that balances technical development, conceptual thinking, and personal storytelling. Rather than following repetitive assignments, each student is guided to build a portfolio that reflects their own voice, curiosity, and artistic identity.
Over the years, Studio Noma students have been recognized by Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and accepted into leading art and design schools including RISD, Cooper Union, SAIC, MassArt, MICA, SVA, and more.
At Studio Noma, we believe strong portfolios are built not only through skill, but through experimentation, risk-taking, and authentic creative growth.
